This section of Ocean Breeze will be dedicated to Music by the Pros – as opposed to the amateur – as in your’s truly. It is likely the scope and goals of this page are going to morph over time with some feedback from readers. But for now the objective is twofold.
The first goal is to expose readers of Ocean Breeze to newer music, a lot of which will be off the beaten path so to speak. After all, you can hear the “beaten path” everywhere…
The second goal is to re-introduce readers of Ocean Breeze to some older music, a bit retro, but along the lines of music that influenced me or I just really liked back in the day.
There will be Diversity of Genres – at least that is the Goal. But time will tell.
My playlists evolve over time. If something doesn’t fit, it goes away over time. Other songs are added. So these playlists will be dynamic. I recommend shuffle when playing to mix them up a bit.
I’m going to start by adding some playlists. I’ve been building playlists on Amazon Music for some time now. I’m going to start by embedding into this page the relevant Playlists from Amazon and if over time it makes sense to put them in as Spotify playlists as well, I will do it. If you aren’t a subscriber to Amazon Music, you will only hear the first 30 seconds of the songs unfortunately. The same conditions apply to Spotify. If you are logged into your music service, the playlist will play in full. So if readers request a Spotify version of a playlist, I will create it. Say no more.
In addition, I will review / introduce a song, or a band, or a concert when I feel the need to get the message out. The topic is infinite.
