Here is a Great Chill Winter Playlist with Rock, Indie, Folk, Jazz, and Blues Genres. Tags for both Spotify and Amazon Music are included.
This one came together over the last month or two. Some fresh bands, and some vintage. It’s worked well for gatherings. It’s worked well while skiing (yea – that feature pic is where we ski). This playlist should introduce you to some new material.
I’m really liking the combination of tunes from The Backseat Lovers and Houndmouth. Being a pianist, I’ve also been loving “Dream Never Dies” by Lo Moon.
I was surprised to find a tune from The Stones called Winter. Hmmm – Age? Did I Forget? Has anyone ever heard of this one??? This one defined this playlist as Great Chill Winter Playlist.
“The GG” has shown enthusiasm for The Shins and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
BRD intro’d me to Kenny Wayne Shephard during a “Pass the Phone” event – many thanks. If you don’t know the game pass the phone – ask in the comment section.
Below you have the links for both Amazon Music and Spotify. I recommend you DOWNLOAD it when you get to it. It’s so funny – I can’t tell you now many friends ask me “Where is that playlist?” and not once. My buddy AJ Foyt asks me roughly 6 times a year – “Where is that playlist???” It’s usually to find the Mountain Music Playlist (see bottom of page).
Comments, suggestions always are welcome.
Enjoy!
If you like this playlist, you should also try out Mountain Music. It remains the fan favorite of all time.

Morning Brian! As you know I do enjoy your playlist and the reason is I always hear something new. Like Houndmouth, they’re amazing.
Also reintroducing the bands we heard and loved from Ohana.
I will be down loading this playlist. I’ll be listening as I walk my pooch Otis.
Thanks
Enjoy it – Ms. A.J. Foyt!

Hi Brian,
I really enjoy this Playlist. Most of the music and artist I haven’t heard before. Also, kudos for the music arrangement.
BR,
Rocco
Rocco! Thanks for the comments. OCEANBRZ lives for comments. I’m glad you are enjoying it.
Thank you for sharing your thoughtfully curated playlists Brian. I’m particularly excited to dive in deeper to The Backseat Lovers. Anything in the works for your “Ideas” page? It would be fun to read about what you are finding particularly thought provoking these days.
Cheers!
